Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2021

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Ontario Health was Chief Executive Officer/Chef de la Direction Matthew Anderson, who brought home $639,064.84 in 2020.

Following Matthew Anderson was President and Chief Exeuctive Officer, Cancer Care Ontario/Président-directeur général, Action Cancer Ontario Michael Sherar, with annual earnings of $636,569.33. Executive Lead, Population Health and Value-Based Health Systems/Directeur général, Santé de la population et système de santé axé sur la valeur Edward Brown made $574,665.89, Co-Executive Lead, Human Resources/Codirectrice générale, ressources humaines Donna Marafioti made $569,300.16, and Vice President/Vice-présidente Linda Rabeneck round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $510,627.60 for the Ontario Health 2021 Sunshine List.
