Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2025

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Kevin Smith was Laboratory Physician Stephen Michael Smith, with annual earnings of $525,849.91. President and Chief Executive Officer Anne-Marie Malek made $499,325.57, Executive Vice President, Education and Chief Medical Officer Brian D. Hodges made $493,922.04, and Executive Vice President, Clinical Support and Performance Rebecca Repa round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $480,284.46 for the University Health Network 2025 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2024, 1,091 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 2,428 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 216 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 57 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 22 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 65 received over $300,000 at the University Health Network.
