Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2006

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following COLIN ANDERSEN was Associate Deputy Minister, TBO PHILIP HOWELL, with annual earnings of $158,285.02. Associate Deputy Minister GABRIEL SÉKALY made $158,199.33, Chief of Staff PETER F. WILKINSON made $156,961.09, and ADM, Tax Revenue Division MARION CRANE round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $154,711.83 for the Finance 2006 Sunshine List.
