Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2010

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following DEBORAH NEWMAN was Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Policy & Programs Division MARIE-LISON FOUGÈRE, with annual earnings of $182,942.39. Assistant Deputy Minister, Postsecondary Education Division JANET MASON made $181,764.27, Assistant Deputy Minister, Employment and Training Division LAURIE LEBLANC made $178,463.46, and Assistant Deputy Minister, Postsecondary Education Division MARION CRANE round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $176,525.03 for the Training, Colleges & Universities 2010 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2009, 24 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 28 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 5 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Training, Colleges & Universities.
