2018 Sunshine List: Treasury Board and Finance top earners
Every year Alberta government publishes its annual Sunshine List of public sector servants, which includes nurses, teachers, police officers, and firefighters, with six-figure salaries. In Treasury Board and Finance, 224 staffers made the list this year, earning a total salary of $29,515,825.00 in 2017.
At the top of the Sunshine List
Topping the list for Treasury Board and Finance was Deputy Minister of TBF Lorna Rosen who brought home $314,465.00 in 2017.
Following Lorna Rosen was Public Service Commissioner Lana Lougheed, who had annual earnings of $285,877.00. ADM, Treasury Management Lowell Epp made $238,790.00, Snr ADM, Leadership Talent Dev Christine Couture made $224,453.00 and Controller Daniel Stadlwieser round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $216,437.00 for the Treasury Board and Finance 2018 Sunshine List.

The salary and severance disclosure, makes Alberta's public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Alberta to make public the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.
