Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2002

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following ROBERT BIRGENEAU was President & CEO of UTAM DONALD W LINDSEY, with annual earnings of $333,000.00. VP, Development & Univ Relations, CDO JON DELLANDREA made $321,999.98, Professor & Dean of Management ROGER MARTIN made $300,000.00, and Prof & Dean Medicine, Vice Provost HCI C. DAVID NAYLOR round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $283,525.02 for the University of Toronto 2002 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2001, 391 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 580 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 97 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 14 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 6 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 5 received over $300,000 at the University of Toronto.
