Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2003

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following DAVID M C WALKER was Principal and Vice-Chancellor WILLIAM C LEGGETT, with annual earnings of $265,999.99. Pathol., Assoc. Dean, VP(Res) FHS, KGH SAMUEL K LUDWIN made $234,780.00, Director N.C.I.C.  & Professor, Oncology JOSEPH L PATER made $214,667.17, and Vice-Principal (Academic) SUZANNE FORTIER round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $201,896.98 for the Queen's University 2003 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2002, 107 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 124 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 20 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 3 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 2 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 2 received over $300,000 at the Queen's University.
