Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2008

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following DONALD WEISS was Executive Vice President, Pensions MARK FULLER, with annual earnings of $332,648.01. Senior Vice President, Investments ANNE-MARIE THOMAS made $297,490.47, Senior Vice President, Corporate Services LINDA BOWDEN made $258,617.35, and Vice President, Policy & Communications PETER SHENA round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $201,257.08 for the Ontario Pension Board 2008 Sunshine List.
