Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2010

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following DOUG NADOROZNY was Chief of Police IAN DAVIDSON, with annual earnings of $213,373.44. General Manager of Community Development CATHERINE MATHESON made $173,553.95, General Manager of Infrastructure Services GREGORY CLAUSEN made $172,892.49, and Chief of Police FRANK ELSNER round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $172,864.24 for the City of Greater Sudbury 2010 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2009, 59 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 34 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 4 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 2 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the City of Greater Sudbury.
