Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2010

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Ontario Human Rights Commission was Counsel SHARON FFOLKES ABRAHAMS, who brought home $219,776.27 in 2009.

Following SHARON FFOLKES ABRAHAMS was Executive Director NANCY AUSTIN, with annual earnings of $211,232.07. Counsel ANTHONY GRIFFIN made $193,755.69, Counsel CATHY PIKE made $190,137.81, and Counsel KIKEE MALIK round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $173,652.72 for the Ontario Human Rights Commission 2010 Sunshine List.
