Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2012

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following LLOYD FENNELL was Sergeant, Police SCOTT CLARKE, with annual earnings of $158,519.16. Deputy Fire Chief JOHN KINGYENS made $158,439.03, Police Chief JAMES P. NELSON made $150,784.99, and Staff Sergeant, Police DAVID W. MCCABE round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $146,243.80 for the City of Sarnia 2012 Sunshine List.
