Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2013

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

2013 Ontario Sunshine List: Finance Top Earners

At the top of the Finance Sunshine List

Topping the list for the Finance was Deputy Minister STEPHEN ORSINI, who brought home $241,730.01 in 2012.

Following STEPHEN ORSINI was Strategic Lead, Tobacco Tax Compliance Strategy JEFFREY SIMSER, with annual earnings of $200,623.25. Associate Deputy Minister GERGELY ORENCSAK made $190,405.38, Associate Deputy Minister MAHMOOD NANJI made $190,127.71, and Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Partnerships & Program Policy ROBERT LARAMY round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $188,807.05 for the Finance 2013 Sunshine List.
