Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2013

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following ROBIN KIND was Assistant General Counsel WILHELM L. RINAS, with annual earnings of $196,815.62. Chief Executive Officer JANE E. PAGEL made $173,497.31, Legal Counsel STEVEN A. LOVE made $144,012.22, and Vice President, Finance & Corporate Services DANIEL W. ATKINSON round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $138,862.57 for the Ontario Clean Water Agency 2013 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2012, 24 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 19 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 2 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Ontario Clean Water Agency.
