Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2013

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Ontario Financing Authority was Chief Executive Officer GADI MAYMAN, who brought home $559,048.12 in 2012.

Following GADI MAYMAN was Executive Director MICHAEL MANNING, with annual earnings of $369,524.18. Director, Debt Management DAVID PETERS made $278,253.52, Director, Funding JAMES DEVINE made $278,179.80, and Director, Risk Control DOUGLAS HARRINGTON round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $207,752.48 for the Ontario Financing Authority 2013 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2012, 24 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 21 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 5 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 2 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 2 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 2 received over $300,000 at the Ontario Financing Authority.
