Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2013

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following ALAN WILDEMAN was Professor NEIL GOLD, with annual earnings of $315,979.66. Provost and Vice President Academic; Professor LEO GROARKE made $259,999.92, Professor; Associate Vice–Provost & Executive Director RAMASWAMI BALACHANDAR made $255,454.41, and Professor; Canada Research Chair HODA EL MARAGHY round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $247,918.92 for the University of Windsor 2013 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2012, 81 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 280 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 102 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 18 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 2 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 2 received over $300,000 at the University of Windsor.
