Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2014

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Ontario Court of Justice was Judge PETER GRIFFITHS, who brought home $364,841.05 in 2013.

Following PETER GRIFFITHS was Judge ANNEMARIE BONKALO, with annual earnings of $304,676.74. Judge BRIAN LENNOX made $304,025.39, Judge/Conflict of Interest Commissioner SIDNEY LINDEN made $300,665.60, and Judge JOHN PAYNE round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $299,693.97 for the Ontario Court of Justice 2014 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2013, 13 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 318 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 7 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 6 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 268 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 4 received over $300,000 at the Ontario Court of Justice .
