Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2016

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Assistant Deputy Minister, Negotiations & Reconciliation / Sous-ministre adjoint, négociations et réconciliation Douglas Carr made $192,375.37, Manager, Special Projects / Chef, projets spéciaux Diane Hector made $160,510.26, and Assistant Deputy Minister, Negotiations & Reconciliation / Sous-ministre adjoint, négociations et réconciliation David Didluck round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $149,525.23 for the Aboriginal Affairs 2016 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers
