Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2016

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Colleges Ontario was President And Chief Executive Office Linda Franklin, who brought home $326,762.52 in 2015.

Following Linda Franklin was Vice-President, Research And Policy William Summers, with annual earnings of $194,146.20. Director, Member Services And Special Projects Caroline Donkin made $142,000.05, Director Of Communications Robert Savage made $138,325.74, and Executive Director, Ontario Colleges Quality Assurance Service Karen Belfer round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $134,311.88 for the Colleges Ontario 2016 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2015, 1 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 6 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 1 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Colleges Ontario.
