Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2016

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Bonnie Lysyk was Audit Director/Directeur en vérification Gerard Fitzmaurice, with annual earnings of $165,032.70. Assistant Auditor General /Vérificatrice général adjointe Susan Klein made $164,178.19, Assistant Auditor General /Vérificateur général adjoint Rudolph Chiu made $158,522.19, and Assistant Auditor General /Vérificateur général adjoint Hassnain Chagani round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $154,290.64 for the Office of the Auditor General 2016 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2015, 9 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 17 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 4 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Office of the Auditor General.
