Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2018

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Stephan Jost was Deputy Director and Chief Advancement Officer Alicia Vandermeer, with annual earnings of $251,833.71. Executive Director, Capital Special Projects and Operations Michael Mahoney made $245,465.93, Chief Financial Officer Rocco Saverino made $234,369.66, and Richard and Elizabeth Currie, Chief Public Programming and Learning Judith Koke round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $214,441.24 for the Art Gallery of Ontario 2018 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2017, 6 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 28 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 5 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 3 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 1 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 1 received over $300,000 at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
