Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2020

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Kevin French was Chief Talent Officer Diane Mcarthur, with annual earnings of $246,653.38. Associate Deputy Minister Bargaining and Compensation Marc Rondeau made $235,677.30, Director, Information Technology Governance Russell Whitehead made $227,963.80, and Chief Talent officer Brian Fior round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $227,917.48 for the Treasury Board Secretariat 2020 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2019, 393 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 330 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 38 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 8 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 1 received between $250,001 and $300,000 at the Treasury Board Secretariat.
