Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2023

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry was Deputy Minister Monique Rolf Von Den Baumen-Clark, who brought home $358,695.96 in 2022.

Following Monique Rolf Von Den Baumen-Clark was Assistant Deputy Minister, Provincial Services Division Tracey Mill, with annual earnings of $254,347.71. Chief Administrative Officer/Assistant Deputy Minister Scott Mantle made $231,920.41, Assistant Deputy Minister, Northern Development Division Helen Mulc made $230,737.87, and Assistant Deputy Minister, Policy Division Craig Brown round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $224,867.26 for the Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry 2023 Sunshine List.
