Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2025

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Vice-President, Operational Excellence and Collaboration Cindy Hunter made $163,820.35, Chief Mine Rescue Officer Shawn Rideout made $159,439.54, and Director, Health and Safety Services and Strategy Cindy Schiewek round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $149,527.26 for the Workplace Safety North 2025 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2024, 9 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 29 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 3 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Workplace Safety North.
