Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2000

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following G. CARL ANDOGNINI was President & CEO RONALD W. OSBORNE, with annual earnings of $1,351,304.00. Vice President, NPAG BRIAN DEBS made $1,168,988.97, Vice President, NPAG RICK MACHON made $869,884.43, and Vice President, NPAG EUGENE PRESTON round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $827,799.77 for the Ontario Power Generation 2000 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 1999, 834 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 841 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 51 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 10 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 8 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 15 received over $300,000 at the Ontario Power Generation.
