Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2004

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following THOMAS CLOSSON was VP, Real Estate Solutions SUSAN CONNER, with annual earnings of $409,899.50. TGH VP & Chief Operating Officer JANET BEED made $382,570.73, VP, Research CHRISTOPHER PAIGE made $371,375.99, and Physician-In-Chief MICHAEL BAKER round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $369,270.02 for the University Health Network 2004 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2003, 53 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 101 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 46 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 36 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 9 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 10 received over $300,000 at the University Health Network.
