Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2005

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following PAMELA BRYANT was ADM, Seniors' Secretariat GEOFFREY QUIRT, with annual earnings of $141,641.50. Director, Communications BERNADETTE SULGIT made $140,844.34, Director,Technology & Business Solutions WALTER BILYK made $135,824.22, and ADM, Regional & Corp. Srvcs. Div. ROBERT MONTGOMERY round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $134,211.22 for the Citizenship & Immigration 2005 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2004, 6 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 6 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 1 received between $150,001 and $200,000 at the Citizenship & Immigration.
