Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2006

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Hydro One was President/CEO TOM PARKINSON, who brought home $1,563,221.74 in 2005.

Following TOM PARKINSON was Senior VP, Asset Management DAVE BARRIE, with annual earnings of $516,590.76. Senior VP, Corporate Services TOM GOLDIE made $493,006.52, General Counsel/Secretary LAURA FORMUSA made $467,568.64, and Chief Financial Officer BETH SUMMERS round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $427,875.45 for the Hydro One 2006 Sunshine List.
