Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2007

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Assistant Deputy Minister, Labour Market &Training Division KEVIN FRENCH made $143,572.67, Project Director, Corporate Management THOMAS HAGERTY made $132,061.02, and Director, Workplace Training Branch SANDRA BIRKHEAD-KIRK round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $126,515.10 for the Training, Colleges & Universities 2007 Sunshine List.
