Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2008

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Assistant Deputy Minister, Employment & Training Division KEVIN FRENCH made $163,364.83, Director, Service Delivery Branch SANDRA BIRKHEAD-KIRK made $128,251.74, and Director, Postsecondary Finance & Information Management Branch MARTIN HICKS round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $128,251.74 for the Training, Colleges & Universities 2008 Sunshine List.
