Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2009

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following SARA DIAMOND was Vice-President, Finance & Administration PETER CALDWELL, with annual earnings of $205,744.76. Vice-President, Academic SARAH MCKINNON made $200,500.22, Vice-President, Research & Graduate Studies MICHAEL OWEN made $188,501.85, and Dean, Faculty of Liberal Studies/Associate VP, Academic/Professor KATHRYN SHAILER round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $176,709.33 for the Ontario College of Art & Design 2009 Sunshine List.
