Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2010

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following NEIL MCEVOY was Vice President, Medical Affairs/Chief of Staff PETER (DR.) NORD, with annual earnings of $312,670.36. Vice President, Programs/Chief Nursing Executive MARY J. WALSH made $239,668.23, Chief Financial Officer STEPHEN D'ARCY made $228,128.68, and Vice President, Information and Performance ROBERT FORBES round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $197,531.50 for the Providence Healthcare 2010 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2009, 10 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 10 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 3 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 2 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 2 received between $250,001 and $300,000 at the Providence Healthcare.
