Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2011

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Government Services was Deputy Minister RONALD MCKERLIE, who brought home $323,148.36 in 2010.

Following RONALD MCKERLIE was Corporate Chief Info. & Info. Technology Officer DAVID NICHOLL, with annual earnings of $266,911.27. Corporate Chief, Information Technology Services MICHAEL GALLAS made $251,645.26, Deputy Minister/Chief Executive Officer, ServiceOntario WILLIAM STARK made $229,518.58, and Chief Diversity Officer NOELLE RICHARDSON round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $206,645.65 for the Government Services 2011 Sunshine List.
