Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2011

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Assistant Deputy Minister, Ring of Fire Secretariat CHRISTINE KASZYCKI made $174,888.26, Assistant Deputy Minister, Forestry Division WILLIAM THORNTON made $174,888.26, and Assistant Deputy Minister, Northern Development Division CAL MCDONALD round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $172,246.15 for the Northern Development, Mines & Forestry 2011 Sunshine List.
