Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2011

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following LESLEY LEWIS was Vice President, Corporate Services & Operations/Chief Operating Officer GRANT TROOP, with annual earnings of $137,654.59. Vice President, External Relations/Chief Relationship Manager JOANN BENNETT made $135,696.45, Vice President, Science Experience/Chief Science Officer HOOLEY MCLAUGHLIN made $133,047.46, and Vice President, Marketing & Strategic Communications BERNARD GORECKI round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $126,862.11 for the Ontario Science Centre 2011 Sunshine List.
