Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2012

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Director & Senior Scientist RIMA AL-AWAR made $425,150.16, Vice President, Commercialization FRANKLIN D. STONEBANKS made $349,645.20, and Director & Senior Scientist JOHNATHAN BARTLETT round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $304,526.13 for the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research 2012 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2011, 7 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 21 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 6 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 3 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 5 received over $300,000 at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.
