Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2013

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Tourism, Culture & Sport was Deputy Minister STEVEN DAVIDSON, who brought home $203,589.54 in 2012.

Following STEVEN DAVIDSON was Assistant Deputy Minister, Culture Division KEVIN FINNERTY, with annual earnings of $186,225.24. Assistant Deputy Minister, Tourism Policy & Development Division RICHARD MCKINNELL made $184,127.94, Assistant Deputy Minister, Tourism Planning & Operations Division MORAH FENNING made $181,598.32, and Assistant Deputy Minister, Ontario Seniors' Secretariat JUANITA DOBSON round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $154,569.60 for the Tourism, Culture & Sport 2013 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2012, 24 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 24 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 5 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Tourism, Culture & Sport.
