Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2014

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following LINDA RABENECK was President And Chief Executive Officer MICHAEL SHERAR, with annual earnings of $496,734.58. Vice President, Planning & Regional Programs ROBERT MATHESON made $306,447.21, Vice President, Clinical Programs & Quality Initiatives CAROL SAWKA made $298,918.66, and Medical Advisor CRAIG EARLE round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $269,195.53 for the Cancer Care Ontario 2014 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2013, 46 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 68 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 15 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 4 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 3 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 3 received over $300,000 at the Cancer Care Ontario .
