Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2015

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Professor Kee-Hong Bae made $340,119.68, Professor Russell Belk made $337,993.72, and Dean / Professor Harvey Skinner round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $333,956.08 for the York University 2015 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2014, 162 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 812 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 466 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 114 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 24 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 11 received over $300,000 at the York University.
