Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2022

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Catholic Children's Aid Society was Executive Director Mark Kartusch, who brought home $235,431.15 in 2021.

Following Mark Kartusch was Director of Service Domenic Gratta, with annual earnings of $210,884.74. Director of Information Technology, Admin and Chief Financial Officer Clara Secnik made $189,269.59, Director, Human Resources Munish Sharma made $178,235.75, and Chief Counsel James Duncan round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $162,033.41 for the Catholic Children's Aid Society 2022 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2021, 21 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 54 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 4 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 2 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Catholic Children's Aid Society.
