Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2024

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Community Living Toronto was Chief Executive Officer Brad Saunders, who brought home $223,773.40 in 2023.

Following Brad Saunders was Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Betty Yam, with annual earnings of $166,544.88. Chief Business Solutions Officer Casey Pruden made $165,026.48, Chief Operating Officer Joseph Passaretti made $159,074.11, and Director Information Technology and Business Solution Aymen Ben Hassouna round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $150,465.92 for the Community Living Toronto 2024 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2023, 8 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 20 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 4 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 1 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the Community Living Toronto.
