On December 13, 2016 the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador passed legislation in the House of Assembly require an annual listing of all employees in departments and a number of agencies, boards, commissions, health care bodies, educational bodies and Crown corporations who receive total compensation of more than $100,000 in a year.

Topping the list for the Fisheries,Forestry&Agricult was Deputy Minister Tracy King, who brought home $178,300.00 in 2021.

Following Tracy King was Fisheries Field Rep C Gary Butt, with annual earnings of $145,800.00. Assistant Deputy Minister Stephen Balsom made $140,800.00, Assistant Deputy Minister Chantelle MacDonald Newhook made $138,400.00, and Conservation Officer IIIB Trevor Brown round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $138,000.00 for the Fisheries,Forestry&Agricult 2022 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2021, 27 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 27 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 1 received between $150,001 and $200,000 at the Fisheries,Forestry&Agricult.
