Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2001

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following JOHN FLEMING was Contract Psychiatrist G TONI SWART, with annual earnings of $161,418.59. Contract Psychiatrist ALAN E BROWN made $161,418.57, Contract Psychiatrist RICHARD M ANDREYCHUK made $161,057.42, and Contract Pediatrician PAMELA FRID round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $147,788.15 for the Community & Social Services 2001 Sunshine List.

Breaking down the numbers
