Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2002

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following JOSEPHINE BRYANT was Senior Manager, Information Technology GEORGE LEVIN, with annual earnings of $152,435.28. Manager, Collection Department, Central SUSAN CARON made $137,235.14, District Mgr-South Reg.- Bloor / Gladstone LINDA KARLINSKY made $136,991.53, and District Mgr, West Region- Brentwood BRIGITTE RICHTER round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $136,775.75 for the Toronto Public Library 2002 Sunshine List.
