Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2008

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following ALI ARLANI was Counsel MEGAN PECK, with annual earnings of $149,792.58. Chair, Ontario Municipal Board MARIE HUBBARD made $147,449.59, Chair, Assessment Review Board RICHARD STEPHENSON made $147,449.59, and Vice Chair, Ontario Municipal Board JAN SEABORN round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $123,321.74 for the ARB/BON/OMB 2008 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2007, 1 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 9 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 1 received between $150,001 and $200,000 at the ARB/BON/OMB.
