Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2008

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following JACQUES BRADWEJN was President/Recteur GILLES PATRY, with annual earnings of $327,502.20. Director/Directeur ANTOINE HAKIM made $270,171.18, Professor/Professeur PETER WALKER made $270,000.00, and President/Chief Executive Officer/CSO/President ROBERT ROBERTS round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $265,136.67 for the University of Ottawa 2008 Sunshine List.
