Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2011

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following ELIZABETH RICHARDSON was City Manager CHRISTOPHER MURRAY, with annual earnings of $210,584.46. Chief Of Police GLENN DE CAIRE made $201,616.48, Associate Medical Officer of Health CHRISTOPHER MACKIE made $195,192.96, and General Manager Community Services JOE-ANNE PRIEL round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $183,228.22 for the City of Hamilton 2011 Sunshine List.
