Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2011

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following SHARON BUCHANAN was Manager, Legal Services JOANNE LEATCH, with annual earnings of $191,212.41. Counsel MARIE DYACH made $170,601.01, Chair, Social Benefits Tribunal/Social Assistance Review Board GARY YEE made $167,076.26, and Vice Chair, Social Benefits Tribunal BEVERLY MOORE round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $131,000.22 for the Social Benefits Tribunal 2011 Sunshine List.
