Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2017

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Paul Pedersen was General Manager of Health, Social and Emergency Services Tim Beadman, with annual earnings of $221,173.91. General Manager, Community Development Catherine Matheson made $203,186.10, Deputy Chief Allan Lekun made $201,840.56, and Chief Administrative Officer of Police Services Sharon Baiden round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $201,840.56 for the City of Greater Sudbury 2017 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2016, 183 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 186 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 7 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 5 received between $200,001 and $250,000 at the City of Greater Sudbury.
