Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2000

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following SUZANNE HERBERT was Project Director and Field Officer GARTH JACKSON, with annual earnings of $149,546.21. Assistant Deputy Minister D R PEEBLES made $141,327.80, Assistant Deputy Minister JUDITH WRIGHT made $141,327.80, and Assistant Deputy Minister MAURICE PROULX round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $113,927.45 for the Education 2000 Sunshine List.
